Ennerdale Brewery Ltd

Nestled in the heart of the western Lake District, Ennerdale brewery is a family run business that began its journey in Croasdale, just a stones throw from Ennerdale water. Due to the growing popularity of our ales, we outgrew our original site and now operate from a larger facility in nearby Rowrah.

We brew around 40 firkins (3500 pints or 2000 litres) of beer at a time, using super soft local water, malted barley, hops and yeast to create our traditional ales.

Visitors are always welcome at our brewery tap, where you can sample our latest creations and enjoy a bite of west Cumbrian grub, the perfect spot to relax with friends and experience our home cooked food and freshest brews!

Our core range features 5 cask ales and 1 keg craft lager, all gluten free and available in bottles and cans too. To keep things exciting we also produce seasonal specials throughout the year.

You’ll find our brews in pubs, restaurants, hotels and supermarkets across Cumbria, Lancashire and further afield.
