Now celebrating 33 years in business, we continue to bring cross stitch, tapestry, long stitch and embroidery kits to thousands of crafting fans.
A big part of our success comes from our collaborations with talented artists, transforming their artwork into designs that people can recreate at home. From the imaginative Shoe Art of Sally King to the beautiful watercolours of Wrendale Designs and the vibrant Menagerie collection by Rachel Froud, there is truly something to suit every stitching style and taste.
This year also saw the launch of an exciting new partnership with Aardman, featuring eight brand-new cross stitch kits inspired by the legendary duo Wallace & Gromit. For 50 years, Aardman has delighted audiences around the world with its iconic characters and storytelling, and we have brought that same charm into the world of stitching.
For local craft lovers, Bothy Threads also has an onsite shop at its Aspatria headquarters, open Monday to Thursday from 9am–5pm and Fridays from 9am–2pm. Visitors can browse a treasure trove of cross stitch and tapestry kits, along with craft supplies, gifts and stitching accessories.
